Hydrovolt recruits new Head of People & Sustainability

Hydrovolt announces the recruitment of Helle Bugge Bergsund as their new Head of People and Sustainability, effective from February 17. In this role, she will drive Hydrovolt’s people and sustainability agenda, shaping an organization built for growth.

Throughout Bergsund’s career, she has successfully driven strategic people initiatives across diverse industries and global regions. Her extensive background spans the full HR spectrum, including talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development. She comes from Hydro Batteries, where she recently served as Head of Organizational Development.

In her cross-functional role, Bergsund will lead and drive the company’s people and sustainability agenda, shaping an organization built for growth. She will be responsible for developing and implementing Hydrovolt’s sustainability strategy, enabling teams across the organization to meet and exceed sustainability requirements and reporting standards. In addition, she will head strategic people and organizational development initiatives that support Hydrovolt’s long-term growth ambitions.

The recruitment of Bergsund comes at a crucial time as Hydrovolt continues to expand its commitment to sustainability and workforce development. Bergsund has a background in human resources, organizational leadership and business administration while holding a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Copenhagen Business School.
