Reusable packaging – simpler, safer, and more sustainable
Throughout the year, we have acquired new packaging that can be reused, stacked, and flat-packed. The packaging ensures safe, cost-efficient, and environmentally friendly battery transport. The solution reduces both waste and costs—while meeting strict safety requirements. We offer packaging rental, giving you greater flexibility.
Our new transport boxes are designed to meet both current and future requirements. They are robust, standardized, and adapted to different battery types, ensuring safe handling from sender to receiver—every time.
Nationwide logistics – we collect and deliver wherever you are
Hydrovolt is building even smarter and more flexible logistics solutions across Norway in cooperation with skilled suppliers. We ensure safe and efficient collection and transportation—optimized to reduce both costs and environmental impact. During the year, we even set a new record for our northernmost collection, retrieving batteries at 70° north.

In 2025, Hydrovolt hosted several events aimed at sharing and strengthening industry expertise. In May, the annual Safety Day was held at IF’s test center, where participants could witness the forces involved when a battery catches fire. This autumn, Packaging and Transport Day was organized at the facility in Fredrikstad, covering regulations for correct packaging and transport, as well as a demonstration of the safety assessment required prior to transportation.
Throughout the year, Hydrovolt has delivered services across the entire value chain—from receiving batteries to delivering recycled materials from the process—for car dismantlers, car importers, and other industrial companies with high-energy batteries for recycling.
