Hydrovolt strengthens key functions in the company
With the new team members, Hydrovolt is building a more diverse organization with strengthened in-house capacity and competence. This will ensure both safe and reliable operations in Fredrikstad as well as a speedy execution of Hydrovolt’s growth agenda.
New commercial team
As a Business Development Manager, Marte Stamland, joins with a background from consulting and the battery industry working most recently for Hydro Batteries. Additionally, Lorenz Egner will join as Head of Partnerships with extensive experience in sales, engineering, and entrepreneurship from former roles at CATL and Jaguar Land Rover.
In addition to the two newcomers, the commercial team is continuing its success with Arnaud Dubief as Head of Expansion and Client Programs and Denice Johansson as Business Development Manager. They will be crucial resources in Hydrovolt’s growth agenda moving forward.
Building in-house technology competence
As innovation speeds up and the market changes in a fast pace, Hydrovolt is building in-house capacity to secure innovative and sustainable recycling solutions. To leverage the best from the digital world for innovative recycling solutions, the company has hired Pascal Viala as Head of Digital Manufacturing. He has an educational background in design and technology of advanced vehicle systems and 15+ years’ experience within software, data science and digital manufacturing from BMW, Freyr and Wheel.me.
In addition to him, two technical experts will be leading the technology advancements for dismantling and discharging (D&D) and crushing and sorting (C&S). Henrique Calil is hired as a technical expert for D&D processes with background in mechanical engineering, automatization / robotics from Halodi Robotics, Optimar and Kongsberg Maritime. Christine Pettersen will take up the last technical expert role for C&S with background in materials science for energy and nanotechnology and working experience within battery technology from Bellona and production control from Protan.
Securing reliable and safe production in Fredrikstad
As Hydrovolt is finalizing a new production line at the D&D site and ramping up shifts at the plant, the company has strengthened both its project team and maintenance team with new capacity and competence.
The project team is strengthened by Erling Kjelstrup as project engineer with background in mechanical engineering and work experience from Lattix, J.S. Cook and Circle K, and Didrik Wagner Fægri as procurement manager with experience from logistics and procurement in Nexans, Rainpower, and Freyr.
Whilst the maintenance team grows with a new maintenance planner, Eivind Folkenborg, and new mechanic Mahdi Mohammadi. These will be key resources to ensure a stable production at capacity.
