Hydrovolt recruits new Chief Commercial Officer to drive strategic growth

Oslo, December 16: Hydrovolt, a leading European battery recycler, announces the recruitment of Frederic Vieille-Petit as its new Chief Commercial Officer effective from February 3 in 2025. This role will be key in driving growth, enhancing the company’s strategy, and building strong partnerships as Hydrovolt scales its business.

With extensive experience from the energy sector and battery industry, Vieille-Petit brings a wealth of experience within strategic planning and business development. Prior to joining Hydrovolt, Vieille-Petit held senior leadership roles at Freyr Battery, NRC Group, Boston Consulting Group and Aker Solutions, where he successfully led strategic large-scale projects and strengthened key business relationships.

As CCO, Vieille-Petit will oversee Hydrovolt’s commercial strategy and business model while developing a high-performing team and a strong customer and partnership portfolio. From ensuring seamless collection and logistics of used batteries to driving negotiations for off-take of Hydrovolt’s products, this role is crucial to the company’s success in the battery recycling industry.
